but its ok. i'm not complaining. cos seriously, trainings are much more fun now. esp with the achi and wak jawa and little ms cloe and the bulldozer. yes. u saw it correctly. the bulldozer aka julie. she's my source of entertainment sometimes during trainings although i could do without her kicking my knees or shins.
btw, julie, if you're reading this, the bruises u left me are still there la.. dunno how long it will take to go away.
as u know, i'm lookin for temp jobs now before i start sch in sept. went to a few interviews but the one with healthwise pte ltd takes the cake. the interviewer was really sarcastic and so full of himself that i seriously wanted to jam my fist in his mouth. he was male and malay. no offence but this is wat happens to SOME malays. you climb a bit higher in the corporate ladder and your head swells like 875438y57 times. i'm a malay myself but seriously, it turns me off when i see ppl of my own kind behaving that way.
why am i pissed? ok, first, the ad says EVENTS & MARKETING CO-ORDINATOR for 2 mths for a new product launch. very interesting. i called the girl up, chatted with her and even confirmed that the position offered is wat is stated in the papers. ok so interview is arranged, i went all the way down to peace centre and turns out wat they are offering is those promoting jobs at their own roadshows. PROMOTERS! and the pay is purely commissioned based to which i asked how it is counted, then the bloody egoistic guy said in his smug voice "ah, this is where you have to attend 3 days of training with us and on the 3rd day which is the last, then we will tell you how you are paid" wtf???!!!??!!!? and the training is from 11.30 am to 7 pm. 7 and half hrs train wat you tell me. times 3 days. thats 22 and half hrs in total. you mean, i have to endure your sarcasm and your ego and kiss your ass for 22 and half hrs before i get the job? and a simple promoter job at that. no thanks.
during the interview, i pointed out to him politely that this isn't wat was written in the papers. i mean if you want those student promoters why didn't you say so first and posted the ad that way? to which he did not take kindly and replied me sarcastically, "ok fine, if you think you're good and have handled events before, then come and join the company and by all means you can take over my place. f**k la this guy. i could be mean to him but, i don wanna stoop to his level, so i left. i could slap that asshole la. oh at this point, i'm sorry if i offended you with my language, but i'm just too pissed.
btw, he told me that the co. is gonna have a booth at the ramadhan bazaar. well, he better pray that i don see his face there. and if you guys come across ppl with black polo tees with the healthwise logo there, stay far far away haha. they will try to sell you some product that deals with nanotechnology.
on another note, olympics have started and thank goodness i have no sch or work yet. so i can watch them. esp swimming. and i'm gunning for phelps in his quest for 8 gold medals.
in case you guys may wonder, sometimes in my previous post, i may have mentioned achi and wak jawa... so they actually meant...
